Catalina de Llopis “La Famosa Pikassa”

If you need my presence for any tutorial conference or round table presentation symposiums whatever comes to mind, I can come out of my monastic retreat.

Dear Members of the Jury,

My name is Catalina, known as La Famosa Pikassa.
I have recently created a short video featuring my artwork.
Although it was improvised, many of its details are hidden deep within the soul — revealed only through creation itself.
When I compose my pieces, I do so through a
three-dimensional vision, always guided by the fifth element and the aura that Leonardo da Vinci established as classical.
In this century, I seek a
fusion of all pictorial arts, which are represented in this collage.

I kindly ask you to take this artistic vision into account when considering this prestigious award.

At present, I am working on a new piece titled “The Guernica of the Pandemic”Guernica for its identical dimensions, and of the Pandemic because artists are called to represent the times we are living in.

Art is my profession and my life’s purpose.
I have created
over a thousand works, exploring diverse disciplines and materials.
As a
multifaceted artist, I have also had the honor of serving as a jury member in the past.
During my years as
Director of the Spanish School of Design and Creation, I shared a memorable journey to Valencia with Don Enrique Loewe, where we served as jurors for the Valencian Community’s Art and Fashion Award.
Those were different times, yet life always comes full circle.

Now, I find myself here, humbly presenting my candidacy for this award — one that I deeply value and for which I feel divinely inspired.
If God and the
Virgin of the Pillar so will it, I am ready to travel to Madrid and present any works or documentation required.

With sincere respect and admiration,
Catalina “La Famosa Pikassa”
